"The HoverHeat is the only forced air patient warming system that provides true underbody warming which has not been previously possible.
By its two internal component layers, the HoverHeat:
- Levitates the patient
- Allows for low resistance warm air flow underneath the patient
- Provides for a comfortable tissue-friendly warming surface
The largest surface of the body, the underbody surface, can now be warmed making the HoverHeat the most efficient and effective patient air warming system.
Two HoverHeat units can be connected in series to provide under and over body warming with one warm air blower.
The HoverHeat will, consequently, increase the warming capacity of any warm air blower by 50 to 75 percent.
The HoverHeat will accommodate any warm air blower that the customer currently has; making the HoverHeat a low barrier to purchase.
The HoverHeat is designed to direct warm airflow away from the sterile surgical field.
No disposable air warming blankets are needed.
The HoverHeat was designed to work synergistically with the HUG-U-VAC patient positioners and the ConRad Thermal Blankets.
