CCIA - Canadian Cattle Identification Program

The Canadian Cattle Identification Program is a program developed by the cattle industry for the benefit of the cattle industry. Half our annual production is consumed by Canadian customers and the other half is exported. National ID will help assure all our customers that the Canadian cattle industry stands behind its product.

The program involves the individual identification of all cattle that move beyond their ‘herds of origin’ with approved ear tags bearing numbers that are unique to each animal.
